At the same time, LCC Administration proposes to:
- Cut benefits
- Require mandatory overloads for full-time faculty, also resulting in part-time faculty job loss
- Reduce pay for PT faculty teaching lecture lab & increase workload for FT faculty teaching lecture lab
- Increase class sizes by 50% or more
- No proposals to address safety during a lockdown
- Cut protections that prevent part-time faculty from being removed from their jobs on the basis of non-discrimination, free expression of ideas, and civic engagement free from institutional censorship, and more…
