Bargaining Information: LCCEA faculty are bargaining for a fair contract, centering the common good for our students and our communities. Our contract expired June 30, 2025.

At the same time, LCC Administration proposes to:

  • Cut benefits
  • Require mandatory overloads for full-time faculty, also resulting in part-time faculty job loss
  • Reduce pay for PT faculty teaching lecture lab & increase workload for FT faculty teaching lecture lab
  • Increase class sizes by 50% or more
  • No proposals to address safety during a lockdown
  • Cut protections that prevent part-time faculty from being removed from their jobs on the basis of non-discrimination, free expression of ideas, and civic engagement free from institutional censorship, and more…
