Organizers held a press conference for the Day of Action, and speakers at the press conference include:

• Jason Wozniak, Higher Ed Researcher and Organizer at Debt Collective
• Bryan Sacks, Rutgers Instructor and Representative at Rutgers Adjunct Faculty Union Rank and File Caucus

The April 17 National Day of Action is being organized by grassroots faculty groups affiliated with the American Association of University Professors, Higher Education Labor United, the American Federation of Teachers, and a number of graduate student unions and organizations of higher education employees.
