Last week, LCCEA President Adrienne Mitchell wrote to provide important updates to the LCC Board of Education. The substance of that communication follows:
As of December 15, LCC Administration had provided only a minimal response to the information request made on behalf of LCCEA issued Nov 1. In addition, LCC Administration had provided no response to the information request issued Nov 13.
In addition, the Administration had provided no response to the subpoena issued November 30.
LCCEA President Mitchell shared that this lack of response will inevitably contribute to further escalating attorney costs for LCC. These costs, which are a matter of public concern, were already exorbitant and dramatically escalated since 2022, as illustrated by the graph from the LCCEA report to the Board from July 2023 based on the data reported directly by the College (see below).

Finally, LCCEA President Mitchell also shared that the Unfair Labor Practice complaint has been amended to include new issues because of additional unfair labor practices that are continuing to occur.
