Dearest colleagues,

It is with a heavy heart that I write this message.

Our hearts go out to the children, teachers, families and entire community of Bend affected by the tragic shooting today at Silver Rail Elementary School. We, together with our statewide union, OEA will share more information about ways to support our union siblings of Bend Education Association, their students, families, and community.

In the meantime, all statewide canvassing has been cancelled for the next several days, including our LCCEA canvass scheduled for Friday evening, in order to allow our communities time to grieve this tragedy.

Let us come together and support each other during this heart wrenching time.

Yours sincerely,

Adrienne
